About
Hello! I’m Meghan and I am a fellow chemotherapy patient and new breast cancer survivor! I wanted to share a few things that made my life a little easier during 18 months of treatment. I am not a medical professional. And, even if I was, I am not on your tumor board. If you have any questions or comments about life during chemo, please feel free to share; if you have any questions or comments that are medical in nature, we’ve all got to defer to our own tumor boards. Every cancer is different so everyone’s care is individual. And even if our treatment is the same, our side effects might be totally different. But there are some common non-medical things we can share to make our lives a little easier.
What this incomplete guide is all about
Most of us are dealing with hair loss, kitchen nightmares, really strange skin, and wondering “how TF do I clip this drain to my clothes without wanting to swear every time I move?” I’ve tried to cover the main non-medical challenges I had that I was able to find some solutions for. These articles are in no particular order and I hope you enjoy them and find something that makes your load on this journey a little lighter.
